The 45th annual Wisconsin Basketball Coaches Association Boys All-Star Basketball games were held on Thursday at Just A Game Fieldhouse in Wisconsin Dells. The Red Team beat the White Team in four of the five divisional games.
Of local interest, in Division 4, the Red beat the White, 99-96. Carter Olson of Cuba City scored 17 points for the White. Other scorers for the White: Joah Fillardo of Mineral Point had 11, David Neis of River Ridge had 9, Dain Walter of New Glarus 7, Leyton Bowers of Mineral Point 5, and Ian Hinderman of Cuba City 4.
In Division 5, the Red beat the White, 99-88. The Red were coached by Clint Nemitz and Ryan Budden of Southwestern along with Jacob Bernetzke of Cassville. For the White, Chase Ignatius of Barneveld scored 11 points, Max Oleson of Highland had 7, Waylon Palzskill of Belmont had 6. For the Red, Nate Reiff of Southwestern had 5, Robbie Roe of Cassville had 3, and Peerson Kephart of Southwestern had 2.
