The Barneveld Eagles will play for a WIAA Division 5 State Softball Championship Saturday morning against Wisconsin Rapids Assumption. The Golden Eagles won over Edgar 5-1 in a State Semifinal this morning at the Goodman Softball Complex in Madison. Senior Daelynn Rhoades allowed just three hits, one run and struck out 12. Bella Sullivan drove in three runs with a single in the bottom of the fourth. Zoey Schmitz and Anessa Schmitz also had RBI’s. Barneveld will play for a State Title Saturday against Wisconsin Rapids Assumption at 8:00 a.m. Saturday at the Goodman Diamond in Madison.
