Four WIAC athletes have been nominated for the NCAA Woman of the Year Award. Among the nominees is UW-Platteville softball player Ashton Hoeppner. The award honors the academic achievements, athletics excellence, community service and leadership of a graduating athlete from all 3 NCAA divisions. Eligible females are nominated by their school. The Woman of the Year selection committee will identify the Top 10 from each division – and then select 3 finalists from each division. From those 9 finalists, the committee selects the NCAA Woman of the Year, who will be named this fall.
