The Culver’s Isthmus Bowl, the first-ever college football bowl game to be held in Wisconsin, is coming to the Madison area this year. The bowl will feature two Division 3 teams from the WIAC and CCIW. The game is set for November 20 at Verona High School’s new football stadium. The game will feature the top two teams from each coference that do not qualify for the D3 playoffs. Tickets are $10 and go on sale October 1st. A portion of the sales will benefit Special Olympics of Wisconsin. Details can be found Isthmus-Bowl-dot-com. The founder and director of the Isthmus Bowl is Mike Shaw, who played college basketball at UW-Platteville.
